Set in modern-day Paris, the series focuses on a teenage junior high school girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng and her classmate and crush Adrien Agreste. When evil arises, Marinette becomes a superhero named Ladybug, while Adrien becomes Chat Noir/Cat Noir.
